Monarch Spur RV Park and Campground is located literally in the Heart of the Rockies, at 8,620 feet above sea level. Nestled in a small valley, the park has a trout stream running right through it, and is surrounded by thousands of acres of the San Isabel National Forest.
Located 11.7 miles west of Salida, Colorado, 9.2 miles east of Monarch Pass,
between mile markers 208 & 209 on U.S. Highway 50.

just seven miles from the incredible winter skiing and
summertime hiking and mountain biking at Monarch Ski and Snowboard Area.
About twenty miles away you’ll find the 100- and 90-degree pools at the
Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, an incredible place to relax.
And don’t miss a visit to the well-preserved remains of St. Elmo, a local ghost town.
Our friendly staff is ready to do everything to make your stay as
fun-filled and comfortable as possible.
We offer free Wi-Fi access, clean laundry and shower facilities,
and a camp store with last-minute supplies and snacks.
Our RV guests can enjoy 60-foot+, pull-thru sites with full hook-ups,
including 20, 30 and 50 amps of power.
We also have tent campsites with the south fork of the Arkansas river close by.
